Lead DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented and committed TechLead DevOps Engineer to orchestrate automated services in continuous integration and deployment solutions. As a Lead DevOps, you’ll be able to manage and coordinate the design, build, and test of the functional systems, to meet and improve our customers’ needs and experience. What you'll do

Design, build and optimize a scalable, robust and modern automation systems;

Implement and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines;

Be a key leader and expert on DevOps practices;

Design scaling strategies and develop automations scripts and solutions to implement;

Lead the implementation and support of technological solutions;
-
Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.

Create software deployment strategies to more successful deploys;

Embrace uncertainty over highly agile processes, by being detail-oriented, methodical and adaptable the circumstances;

Proactively identify, prioritize and resolve issues as they arise while working within a team;
-
Provide mentorship on your team to help them grow individually and as a team;
-
Handle direct client communication and develop new product specifications;
-
Ensure a balance between team progress & technical debt, while mitigating any project risk;
-
Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, technological knowledge, and communication skills;

Create a pleasant working environment that inspires the team.
What you'll need
-
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or any related field);
-
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role;
-
Proficient with git and git workflows;
-
Good knowledge of Ruby or Python;
-
Good knowledge with Terraform;
-
Working knowledge of databases and SQL;
-
Extensive experience in DevOps on Microsoft Azure platforms;
-
Possess knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, and implementation;
-
Experience in using Linux and ample experience in configuring and automating the monitoring tools;

Capacity to think and communicate concisely and critically over complex technical, architectural and team challenges;

Ability to coordinate technical design and development teams over different projects;
-
Ownership and responsibility;

Ability to troubleshoot & maintain and refactor legacy code;

Be Detailed Oriented & a Self Starter;

Motivated with a Positive Attitude;

Willingness to be part of a bigger team, provide and receive constructive feedback.
Nice-to-have
-
Experience with Cloud In (AWS, Azure Cloud Computing Services);

Server provision, testing, and deployment;
-
Practical knowledge of CI/CD systems;

Experience with Agile methodologies.
